Quiet Atlantic; "Bopha" in the W. Pacific......

The 2012 hurricane season will go out on a quiet note with no threat for tropical development in the Atlantic Basin.
A '12 season summary will soon be posted.

The W. Pacific, however, is a different story.  "Bopha" is moving W/NW & is expected to move very near -- if not over -- Palau as a strengthening typhoon then into the Central Phillipines.  See the forecast track & satellite imagery at the bottom....click here to go to the Joint Typhoon Warning Center.
