Strengthening low pressure along the Gulf Coast will zip into the Western Atlantic near or southeast of Chesapeake Bay through Wed.  No tropical development will occur but there will be heavy rain from Florida north up the U.S. east coast with ice & snow on the backside from the spine of the Appalachians through Western Pennsylvania/Eastern Ohio into Western New England.

Overall….no tropical development expected over the Atlantic Basin.

Strong convection will spread northeast from the Gulf into the Southeast U.S. into Wed. with a nontropical cyclone.
