Plenty of thunderstorm activity across the Atlantic Basin but no organization & no areas of immediate concern.

A rather large upper level low is well north of Puerto Rico & far to the east of the Bahamas & is producing scattered showers & t'storms.  No immediate concerns for development as the feature slowly moves west/southwest or holds nearly stationary.

Deep easterly low & upper level flow is pushing low-topped showers rapidly to the west from the Atlantic as can be seen below (radar imagery courtesy S. Fl. Water Management District):

A good deal of dry air is over the Central & SW Atlantic which will impede much tropical development.

Meanwhile....tropical waves moving off of Africa are weak & showing no signs strengthening.
