No areas of significant concern over the Atlantic Basin....
Most of the Atlantic Basin is void of much cloud cover let alone convection.
A few tropical waves -- about one every other day -- continue to move west off of Africa in the deep tropical Atlantic. Though no significant surface development is likely anytime soon, this increase in convection & waves
might be a harbinger of things to come during the next couple of weeks with the emergence of 1 or possibly 2 tropical systems from early to mid August.
