DUNEDIN, Fla. -- A home has partially fallen into a sinkhole in Dunedin, FL just north of Clearwater.

Dunedin Deputy Fire Chief Trip Barrs says the hole is 12 feet wide and homes on both sides were evacuated.

Our sister station in Tampa says a pool at a neighbor's home appears to be cracking as well.

They said the home owner, Michael Dupre said he had been concerned about sinkholes in the past and has even had a sinkhole prevention company pouring grout into the homes foundation during the past two days.

Dupre said early Thursday morning he heard what sounded like a sledgehammer pounding on a wall.
