This story seems strange. A man with blown tires from speed strip spikes backs his car up into police cruiser and police shoot to kill ? The earlier story had people saying way to go about killing this guy. It's good they responded so fast to the call about vandaling. It's not good that guy who could been apprhended is now dead. Police do a hard thankless job but the one thing they often forget they have to stay within the laws themselves. To often this is ignored by investigators and prosecutors in this state. The people should remind these people how they feel about that when elections come up. Lady leaves her dog in hot car dog nearly dies she gets jail time, rightfully so. Cop does same thing to expensive K-9 unit and nothig but written reprimand. Beat the hell out someone hard enough they die you go to jail and should be there. Ex-cops do it in boot camp the prosecutor screws the case up and the cornor lies for the ex cops. Even with video tap showing the crime! You speed down the road you get a ticket again rightfully so. Cop speeds down to the local barbeque place to meet his/her working buddies who gives them a ticket? Go down the road with all tinted windows in this state will get ticket after ticket about how your vech is unsafe for cops and violating the laws. Cops unmarked cars have these all around tinted windows and get away with it. Don't think the criminals are not aware of that? A lot southern people have this image in their heads that cops are super heros who never lie, cheat etc. This is the case for most them, but they also feel they are above the law. Prosecutors in this state will intentionally fail any case invovling cops or former cops supposedly just doing their jobs no matter who died or how many people were hurt from it. You will not get justice.
