17 year old killed in crash
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The teenager killed while riding his bike Tuesday has been identified as 17-year-old Jarrod Peterkin.
The crash happened Tuesday morning at the intersection of Kernan Boulevard and McCormick Road.
According to police, Peterkin was riding his bike across McCormick Road when he was hit by a car. The driver failed to stop for a red light at the intersection.
Peterkin died at the hospital.
The driver may face charges.
