JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department says a 2-year-old girl is in the hospital after the house she was in caught fire Sunday afternoon.

JFRD District Chief Mike Strickland said they received a 911 call around 3:37 p.m. and responded to the house on the 2400 block of Claro Drive, in Arlington.

A 2-year-old girl was transported to UF Health with burn injuries.

Strickland said the girl and a man were the only two home at the time of the fire.
