2013: The year Florida bans texting while driving?

I'm all for it but if these drivers have to be in violation of some other traffic infraction first, people could still die. They make hands-free sets that are 'voice' activated' with no reason to touch your cell phone at all, so there's really no 'excuse' for having a cell in our hand anyway. The extra money I spent to get it is better than causing a wreck or paying a huge fine.

You mean can not be enforced, if they want it enforced it needs to be a primary offense that they can be stopped for.
