It does not matter how often or who you call the city does nothing to monitor or stop speeding buses. That includes both school bus companies. Every day buses exceed the 30 MPH speed limit on Lane Avenue South, between Wilson and Mother Hubbard. The street is narrow and has a double yellow to stop passing but, that does not stop or slow down speeding busses. They don’t even slow down when passing stopped cars or mail vehicles. I understand the city busses have monitoring equipment……..what a waste. The city does not even spot check the busses which travel in limited speed area. It will not be much longer until these busses start killing passengers, other drivers, and pedestrians. Why does JTA and the school bus companies become pro-active, AND when are the Jacksonville sheriffs going to open their eyes, instead they pretend they don’t notice offenders?
