BRUNSWICK, Ga. -- The Glynn County Police Department arrested a man early Saturday morning for the murder of his 3-month-old child.
On September 3rd, police were called to an apartment at 3901 Darien Highway where they found 3-month-old, Christian Powell, dead inside. The investigation revealed that Christian had died from extensive injuries.
Early Saturday morning, police arrested Christian's father, Willie James Stroud, and charged him with murder.
The investigation revealed that Christian's mother was fifteen-years-old when Stroud impregnated her. Stroud was also charged with Child Molestation because she was under sixteen at the time of her pregnancy.
The investigation is ongoing.
