3 new propane buses hit streets of Putnam County
PUTNAM COUNTY, Fla. -- The Putnam County School District added three new propane buses to its fleet.
Officials say the cost of the new buses will be recouped with rebates and fuel savings, during life span.
The buses will be fueled by Mulligan Propane and will be temporarily housed at the district’s northside bus facility.
The district hopes to eventually move the propane-fueled buses to a newly purchased centralized facility near Palatka.
