JACKSONVILLE, Fla.-- On the 40th anniversary of the historic case of Roe v Wade, communities across the nation are rallying to end abortion.

In Jacksonville, hundreds marched around the Federal Courthouse downtown. The crowd was made up of priests, pastors, men, women and children. Many prayed the rosery as they walked and help up signs.

Organizers say they hope this demonstration lets women in Jacksonville understand their options. The group will walk around the block for a full hour.

On Jan. 22, 1973, the U.S. Supreme Court, in its Roe v. Wade decision, legalized abortions using a trimester approach.

A father wants get rid of child has no choice. If he tries get rid of child right after it is born it's murder. Don't want a young child get rid of it after born again murder charge. Killing a child in the womb where no one can hear it scream is a woman's choice. If by choice you mean legalzied murder. Women who back abortions should be "friending" Casey Anthony after all her crime is she regretted having a child. Thats not to say that in case of lesser of two evils it might be required. Ie to save the life of the mother or in cases of rape or incest. However with advent of new drugs those cases most likely never come to happen. To bad the other side defends murdering a child that cannot speak as a "choice". I am sure if the child was of age it would beg for its life to it's mother asking to be spared. To bad heartless people could care less more concerned with the right of the mother to kill the baby regardless of the reasons.
