It is quite possible the terms garbage and trash are not correctly identifying all types of material that is being removed. There is a lot of natural debris like trees that were uprooted and submerged. Personal property that was washed away and damaged wasn't trash initially, but shouldn't remain in a creek system.

How much of it was beer cans and other REDNECK type trash?
