ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. -- Investigators say five suspects are in the hospital after a crash in connection with a burglary investigation in St. Johns County.

Investigators responded to the Heritage Park subdivision for a report of a burglary in progress at 3 a.m.

Deputies say the car full of suspects tried to make a U-turn on Woodlawn Road.  The car flipped in a ditch, ejecting one person.

Three males and two females between the ages of 15-18 went to Flagler Hospital with minor injuries.

Charges are pending.

Investigators questioned and released a sixth person in connection with the crimes.

Very happy to read that no one else was hurt and it sounds like these little armed thieves got just what they deserved, they were injured and arrested. Now the police need to go arrest their parents for neglect for letting their kids roam the streets at 3am.
