CRESCENT CITY, Fla. -- Several agencies converged on a Putnam County town during a marijuana sting.

Investigators seized about $500,000 worth of the illegal plants in a rural area south of Crescent City, according to the Putnam County Sheriff's Office.

Numerous law enforcement agencies including the Drug/Vice Unit, Florida Department of Law Enforcement Tri-County Drug Taskforce, and the United State Customs and Border Protection Agency participated in the raid. It is part of an ongoing operation to destroy marijuana-growing locations throughout the area.

No suspects have been charged in this case.

If ever these "ignorant politishions" would relise that leagalising marijuana. They could tax it 25% for tax revenue'and a good majority of people would choose it over drinking alcohol. And no' it does not lead (or gate way to) harder drugs. I smoked it for 30 years' never prompted me to want crack or heroin or methanphedimean.
