JACKSONVILLE, Fla.-- Walls lined with history at 57 Heaven were burned to a crisp in a fire on Saturday, but owner Darrel Leake says he feels fortunate. Not a single collectors' item was damaged. From Joey Dee of the Peppermint Twist's autograph to an antique poster of Elvis Presley.

"We got a lot of antiques, a lot of collectibles, a Coke machine and pictures just a lot of different stuff. We were fortunate none of it got affected by the fire," said Leake.

The atrium roof was burned off, but the fire was contained quickly.

57 Heaven has been a nightlife staple in Jacksonville for 27 years, and the owner says he plans on reopening, and have at least 27 more successful years.

Leake hopes to reopen in about two months.
