$60K in jewelry, rare coins stolen during Apopka burglary
APOPKA, Fla. (WFTV) -- Apopka police said they are investigating a home burglary where $60,000 in jewelry and rare coins was stolen.
The crime happened during the afternoon of November 14 at a home in the Errol Estates neighborhood, police said.
According to investigators, the white or Hispanic female burglar forced her way into the back of the home and took the jewelry and coins. The woman was believed to be driving a newer model white Mercedes SUV.
The burglar was caught on the home's surveillance system. Police released several images of her and the Mercedes on Tuesday.
