68-year-old hit while crossing Hendricks Avenue
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- One man is dead, hit and killed while crossing the street early Friday.
The Florida Highway Patrol says 68-year old Charles Wilson Jr. Was hit and killed as he attempted to cross Hendricks Avenue at the intersection Of River Oaks Road at 6:52 a.m. Friday.
Police say driver 23-year-old Andrew Mcdonald Scuderi attempted to stop but ended up hitting Wilson with the front end of his far. Wilson was taken to UF and Shands Jacksonville where he died from his injuries.
Charges are pending.
