8 Taken into custody of Border Patrol
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Eight people are now in the custody of the Border Patrol agents following their arrests along Interstate 95 near Pecan Park Road.
The Border Patrol pulled over a green van on the highway. Some individuals ran into the woods to try to escape. They were caught.
The nationality of those arrested has not been disclosed.
Processing will take several hours according to a Border Patrol spokesperson because of the number of individuals in custody.
