89-year-old man with dementia found safe in Jacksonville

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Benjamin Jones, 89, who suffers from dementia, has been found safe.

According to JSO, Jones left the Country Cabin Restaurant on Dunn Ave., after meeting his daughter in-law for lunch. He was supposed to follow her home but got separated and never returned.

Police announced at 8 p.m. that Clayton was found safe.  He got lost while driving around.  He pulled into a Hardee's near JTB to ask for directions when a JSO patrol officer spotted him.
