JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The First Alert Weather Team is tracking a rare June cold front today.
The front will move through Jacksonville during the afternoon. Because of the timing, scattered thunderstorms are in the forecast. Some of the storms may be strong...as they move to the south later this evening.
Clearing skies kick in overnight into Saturday.
Expect plenty of sunshine this weekend, occasionally mixed with a few clouds, but mostly dry. Temperatures will be more reasonable (more pleasant) with highs in the 80s for most of us. Breezes will be onshore.
Next week, our weather returns to the normal summerlike pattern of low 90s and afternoon thunderstorms.Download the new First Alert iPad app
