A cold and blustery weekend
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The First Alert Weather Team is tracking the windy and cold weekend expected making for a frigid start on Sunday. Skies will remain fairly cloudy tonight with winds elevated at 5 to 10 mph. This will help ward off the real chill, but still prepare for a cold night as overnight lows dip into the low to mid 30s with a few 40s closer to the coast.
Saturday will be very windy so your morning will feature wind chills around 30. Clouds will linger for the most part so daytime highs get stuck in the mid 50s. The winds continue through Sunday making this whole weekend feel much colder than the actual temperature readings. Wind chills will be at their coldest Sunday morning with many areas feeling like the low 20s. At least the skies will be much brighter for Sunday, but freezing temperatures are expected Sunday night.
You will need to protect your outdoor animals and plants through Monday morning.

SATURDAY: Mostly to partly sunny. Very windy. High: 56. Wind: W 15-25 mph. Gusts up to 30-35 mph.
SATURDAY NIGHT: Clearing skies and becoming cold. Low: 32. Wind: W 10 mph.
SUNDAY: Mostly sunny with a very chilly start to the day. Winds will give us wind chills in the 20s in the morning. High: 55. Wind: W 10-15 mph. Gusts up to 20-25 mph.
