JACKSONVILLE, Fla -- A few widely scattered showers & storms this evening will produce brief heavy downpours but most of the area will stay dry and very warm. The showers will dissipate near or a little after midnight. Friday will be a partly to mostly sunny and hot day with afternoon highs near 90 degrees. But big temperature changes are just around the corner as much lower humidity will help drop lows into the 50s over the weekend with highs from 80-85 degrees.
