JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The old record high on October 31st is 86 and we will be very close to reaching that making for a very warm Halloween. Highs will be around 84 to 85 inland and in the low 80s closer to the beaches. Hour by hour indicates that by 5 p.m. the temperature will hold steady in the lower 80s and falling to 71 degrees by 9 p.m. Expect mainly dry skies with winds from the southeast at only 5 ot 10 miles per hour. Overall a great looking Halloween outlook at least weatherwise.

An approaching cold front will bring rain back into the picture Saturday which will clear out late afternoon. Temperatures will tumble by Sunday morning with lows back down in the 50s and daytime highs struggling to make it to the low 70s. A gradual warm up will return early next week.
