JACKSONVILLE, Fla -- The week will end on a very warm note with near record highs. There will be a few areas of fog early Friday otherwise skies will be mostly sunny with an isolated afternoon shower though most spots will stay dry. Afternoon highs will reach the mid to upper 80s with a few 90 degree temperatures inland. Beaches will top out in the low to mid 80s before the sea breeze drops readings back into the upper 70s by late afternoon.
A weak cool front will drift into Northeast Florida Saturday bringing an increase in clouds along with scattered showers. This will not be an all day rain and amounts will average less than a quarter of an inch. Temperatures will still reach the 80s with a pretty humid feel to the air.
