JACKSONVILLE, Fla -- A nice start to the weekend though a bit summer-like.  High humidity will lead to a few isolated showers but most spots will stay dry today with highs well into the 80s inland & low 80s at the beaches.

Tropical storm "Karen" -- which has become very weak -- will move into the far Northern/Northeast Gulf of Mexico Sunday drawing tropical moisture northward into Jacksonville and surrounding areas.  Scattered showers and thunderstorms will develop through the day but with some sun inbetween the periods of rain, & the day will be far from a washout.  Temperatures will again reach the 80s with high humidity.  Rain and storms will increase by Monday.

For detailed information on "Karen", go to "Talking the Tropics With Mike".  Download the FREE First Alert Weather iPad App ** here **.
