JACKSONVILLE, Fla -- Clearing skies tonight will allow temperatures to drop into the 50s inland, 60s at the beaches. Thursday will be a warm day under plenty of sun with highs well into the 80s. A cold front will approach Thursday night and move through the area Friday accompanied by a few showers. Rainfall will not be great -- averaging a quarter of an inch or less -- but temperatures will turn much cooler for the weekend. Highs Friday will still manage to reach the low to mid 80s but only the mid 70s to near 80 Saturday-Sunday with cool overnight lows in the 40s and 50s.
