JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Sunday will be partly sunny, breezy and warm with afternoon highs soaring to near 80 degrees. Even the beaches will jump well into the 70s thanks to offshore winds. The day will begin cool with temperatures in the upper 40s to mid 50s but will warm quickly to 70+ by noon. An isolated afternoon shower could over inland Southeast Georgia near Waycross, Homerville and Fargo but any rain will be brief and light. Much higher rain chances move into the area Monday as a cold front sinks south and east. Showers will be widespread later in the day into the evening with a few thunderstorms possible.
