Acosta bridge open after motorcycle accident
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- All Southbound lanes of the Acosta Bridge are now open after an early-morning motorcycle accident.
The Florida Highway Patrol says 22-year-old John Russell is in critical condition after losing control of his motorcycle and crashing into the concrete barrier wall.
The Southbound lanes were closed just before the onramp to I-95 Southbound for about three hours.
Russell was taken to UF & Shands Jacksonville where he is being treated for his injuries.
