Active search for bank robbery suspect

ORANGE PARK, Fla. -- Clay County Sheriff's deputies are actively searching for a bank robbery suspect in Orange Park.

Deputies and K9s are in the wooded area behind the Compass Bank at 536 Blanding Boulevard.

The suspect is described as a white male with black, curly hair (possibly a wig), wearing a blue bandana and a black shirt.  The suspect was armed with a handgun, but did not shoot it at anyone.

The suspect demanded money from the clerk then took off into the woods.
