JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A cold front is set to drop temperatures for the end of the week...
Tuesday afternoon high temperatures will climb into the lower 80s for Duval County and inland NE Florida today. Coastal temperatures will struggle into the upper 60s because of an onshore wind coming in off of 55 degree water. A warm front will push north over our region today allowing for a few late day showers. The same system will bring a cold front through the area Wednesday afternoon. Showers and a few thunderstorms will roll through along this front.
Thursday temperatures will be significantly cooler after the passage of the Wednesday cold front. Expect highs in the middle 60s with a few showers both Thursday and Friday.
Another gulf low pressure system will work its way toward us over the weekend. Expect showers and thunderstorms Sunday afternoon along with cooler temperatures for Monday.
