Airport police officer arrested on charges of sexual battery on a girl
ORANGE PARK, Fla. -- A police officer with the Jacksonville Aviation Authority is on unpaid administrative leave following his arrest on charges of sexual battery on a girl.
The Clay County Sheriff's Office arrested 46-year-old Raymond White on Saturday. White is from Orange Park.
According to investigators, the victim said White has been molesting her since November 2012.
Action News Lynnsey Gardner learned White worked at JIA as a general patrol officer. He has been on leave since Monday.
White also worked for the Clay County Sheriff's Office as a patrol deputy from 1990 to 1995, according to the agency. He's being held at the Clay County Jail on a $100,000 bond.
Action News obtained White's resume and cover letter as part of his application for the JAA job.
White claims he currently works as a judicial officer for the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office. Action News is checking with JSO to see whether the claim is accurate.
His resume also states he works as a night security supervisor at the Florida Coastal School of Law. Action News is also checking with the law school.
White wrote on his resume he worked with the Bradford County Sheriff's Office as a deputy and sergeant from 2001 until 2010.
