JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A man was sentenced to 25 years in prison for an armed home invasion robbery in May 2011.

Terrell Taylor, 21, pleaded guilty in September to charges of armed robbery, armed burglary, dealing in stolen property and giving false verification of ownership of pawned items.

In May 2011, Taylor and two others broke into a home on Portsmouth Avenue in Jacksonville. The homeowner's 17-year-old son was home alone at the time. According to court documents, Taylor forced the teen to the ground at gunpoint and then took a shotgun, Nintendo, and Xbox 360 from the home. An hour after the robbery, Taylor pawned some of those items.

Taylor is also charged in two other cases.
