with 200 million legal guns & double that of illegal weapons out there,, new laws won't prevent this from occurring again !!! the determined will simply find another device of mass destruction & take out an entire community next time !!! so quit the shy is falling,, feel good knee jerk reactionary positions folks... guns are a part of life... better to mandate mental incompetents & remove guns from their residences !!!

place the blame for newtown squarely where it belongs !!! not on the weapons,, but on a mentally unhinged young man & his equally incompetent mother !!! background checks ought to mandate disclosure of mentally challenged people being accessable to said weapons !!! the mother left them able to be accessed by her idiot child & sadly she is dead,, and can't be found guilty of being extremely stupid in public !!! her son did her the biggest favor by killing her & saved her countless lawsuits & years of court visits & bankruptcy !!!

people kill not gun's. we should be looking out for potential people who might be not right. so many time's people do not tell someone that a person is not well or act's odd. parent's keep an eye on your kid's and raise them right.
