ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. -- Investigators are working to track down more witnesses in the probe of the Conch House altercation involving Maurice Jones-Drew.

The Jaguars running back is accused of hitting security guard Kasim Howard during an incident over the Memorial Day holiday weekend.

Howard's attorney, Patrick Canan, said the State Attorney's Office, which now has the case, has spoken with Howard, and said "investigators are running down some witnesses."

So far, no charges have been filed.

We called the State Attorney's Office for a comment. So far, our calls have not been returned.

Earlier this week, Mojo spoke to the media about the incident and said it has become an unfortunate distraction for himself and his family.
