JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A man already in jail is facing new charges after authorities say he used a stolen phone take a photo of himself that showed up on the victim's Facebook profile.

In May, a man reported his GPS and smart phone had been stolen from his vehicle, according to the report from the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office. Five days later, a friend of the victim called to tell him a post was made from his phone on his Facebook profile that showed a man taking a photo in the mirror. The victim had set up his phone to automatically post his photos on Facebook.

An officer identified the man in the posted photo as Stephon Larobert Wright, but he wasn't able to locate him.

On Sept. 12, the officer found out Wright was in the Duval County jail on an an unrelated auto burglary case. The officer says after seeing the photo posted on the victim's Facebook profile, Wright admitted it was him and said he bought the phone from someone on the street. According to the arrest report, Wright said it took him about a week and a half to buy a SIM card for the phone, and he asked for an attorney when the officer pointed out the photo was posted three days after the phone was stolen.

Wright now faces charges of burglary of the victim's car.
