Auto shop embezzler sentenced
BUNNELL, Fla. -- Angela Wray was convicted Thursday of comitting an Organized Scheme to Defraud a Flagler County auto repair shop.
Prosecuters say Wray embezzled approximately $58,000 from her employer.
According to State Attorney's Office, the defendant wrote duplicate paychecks to herself, used her employers checks to deposit and make payments to her personal accounts, and she also altered the ledger to hide those unapproved payments.
Wray faces a maximum of thirty years in prison when sentenced by Circuit Judge David Walsh.
Sentencing is scheduled for April 29.
