JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A lightning strike sparked a fire at a home in Avondale.
Firefighters say the damage is mostly contained to the chimney and attic at a home on Richmond Street.
A spokesman for JFRD called the family lucky for being next door when the lightning hit their home.
The fire caused about $25,000 in damages. No one was hurt.
