JACKSONVILLE, Fla -- Bands of heavy rain -- including a few thunderstorms -- will move south and west from the Atlantic across Jacksonville, Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia through much of tonight.  The wet pattern will continue into Wednesday with on-and-off showers and a few thunderstorms.  Rainfall will average a half inch to one inch but will locally reach 2 or more inches.  Breezy east to northeat winds will blow 15-25 mph with higher gusts causing rough seas and surf and high rip current risk at area beaches.  The combination of clouds, rain and wind will keep temperatures cooler with highs only in the 80s.
