LAKE CITY, Fla. -- First Federal Bank of Florida is warning its customers that they have seen a spike in fraudulent debit card activity at some of their banks.

In an effort to combat the illegal activity, the bank says it has tightened restrictions on its issued debit cards.

Some normal transactions may be denied due to the increased security.

The bank advises its customers that if they notice fraudulent activity they should call their hotline at 1-877-499-0572.
