JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Bestbet St. Johns announced plans today to relocate its Racetrack Road facility. It will be relocated to either the Orange Park or Jacksonville locations and some employees could lose their jobs.

The first step will involve closing the Racetrack Road facility but Bestbet did not say when this would take place.

According to a news release, the goal is to find a location that offers greater accessibility to the overall region.

"Northeast Florida continues to be a very strong market for the entertainment options that our facilities offer and we are excited about the opportunity this relocation provides us in St. Johns County," said Michael Munz, spokesman for Bestbet. "Bestbet poker, simulcast and gaming will continue to grow in this region and all our locations will continue to showcase our friendly staff and varied gaming product."
