Bicyclist shot and killed in Northwest Jacksonville neighborhood
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The hunt is on for the person who shot and killed a young man riding a bicycle on the 2900 block of Carleon Road Wednesday night. Police say they found the victim after neighbors heard a gun shot at 10:30 p.m. Wednesday night. The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office says they responded to find a young man shot in the street. The victim was in his twenties and was pronounced dead at the hospital, according to police. Neighbors say they saw a man running from the scene after the shooting.
