PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. - The birdie barrage at The Players Championship continues early on Friday morning and Tiger Woods is a big part of the low scoring.

Woods has birdies two of his first three holes to move within two shots of overnight leader Roberto Castro.  Castro tied a course record on Thursday with a 63 and tees off in the afternoon in round two.

Once again, the wind is not blowing here at TPC Sawgrass and that is making for some good shot making and lots of birdies.  Kevin Chappell was five under through his first seven holes and Lee Westwood four under through his first four holes on the day.  Both players are two shots behind Castro.

The weather is perfect here in Ponte Vedra and huge crowds are expected by late Friday afternoon.  Tournament officials continue to encourage carpooling the rest of the tournament.
