JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The First Alert Weather Team is tracking a warming trend through the week ahead. The average high is 69 degrees, and temperatures will be some 10 degrees above average much of this week with highs in the mid 70s Tuesday warming into the upper 70s to low 80s Wednesday through Friday.  Unfortunately, the warmer, dry weather will lead to ever increasing pollen counts -- mainly pollen.

Mainly dry weather can be expected through  Thursday before a slow moving cold front enters the area Friday accompanied by showers.  The front will remain nearby for at least parts of the weekend continuing the chance for at least scattered showers.

Stay tuned to CBS47 and FOX30 for the latest updates on the weekend forecast as the week progresses. You can also download the free First Alert iPad app for the latest First Alert Forecast on your mobile device.
