I have mixed feelings about this. I think that arming some people within the schools might not be such a bad idea if they are properly trained. They need to receive more than the Florida "concealed carry" permit training. It is ridiculously over simplified. Contrary to what Ms. Novak spouts, guns are not dangerous. Idiots with guns are dangerous. Guns can help keep people safe when the person carrying it knows what he or she is doing and understands the responsibilities of using deadly force.
