"The law allows Floridians who feel their lives are in danger to attack assailants" - ATTACK??!! It certainly does not allow an "attack"...just like everything is NOT an "assault rifle". Goebbels would be proud of today's "journalist"...

this is the most ridiculous thing ever, the problem is not with the law. You want to fix the law fix the measures used to review whether the law applies or not. Make certain requirements that must be met in order for the law to apply, make people think twice before using it. If it is truly necessary then there will be no doubt in peoples minds that they should use it. If not then people need to know that they will not be able to use this as a crutch to get away with murder.
