I'm almost 62 years old and I think the law should apply to all drivers regardless of age. The older people with a cell phone plaster to their heads are no less dangerous than the teens. We also need to address the police officers who are using their laptops while driving. Distracted drivers are dangerous divers regardless of who they are or how old they are.

This Bill should'nt be just aimed towards teens. I am a 30 year old female, and I see A LOT of people of many ages all over the roads using cell phones. Drivers that go 20 mph under the speed limit because they are so foucsed on the phone, drivers on the wrong side of the road, this is not just a "teen" problem.

Another freedom being taken away. Don't forget police can text, make calls and drive if they hit someone and cause accident they get off scot free no points no charges. It's getting bad in USA so bad we need to do like honest Russians do and start mounting dash cam's to record accidents. BTW some of us drivers have better training than police about texting and driving or using a communication device at the same time. We received that training in the military. I would be ok with a ban if it included police as well but it will not. See certain class of people are above the law and will continue to be.
