catering to 5% of the shopping public & most of those are neophyte shoppers with credit cards...if retailers think they will see black ink with 48% shopping online & 46% shopping in december(price be damned) then look for the going out of business sales in january & all throughout 2013 & there will be lots of them !!! black friday/grey thursday is all hype left over from when i was a child and suburban moms had ;ittle t.v. and even fewer newspapers,, so word of mouth was the advertising venue of the day... the bargains were simply to good to miss ??? really ??? then why can i buy the same sweater the day after xmas fo 10% of pre xmas price ??? being eastern orthodox has its rewards... i do my shopping after you all kill yourselves & i still save a bundle with the give aways after dec. 25th !!!and i avoid the return lines completely.. so enjoy yourselves,, don't get that trampled feeling so many others have had on this day in years gone by,,,see ya all after the hohoho day,, i'll be breezing about,,whilst ya all are stuck in returns !!! HO HO HO HO !!!
