JACKSONVILLE, Fla.--  Shoppers, shoppers everywhere...that's what Black Friday is all about. This go round, most people had a relatively smooth day.

"I expected a lot of craziness in terms of parking, but it's been surprisingly easy," shopper Kaitlin Moore said.

The Town Center was full of folks looking to save big, but compared to last year, the numbers were smaller. Retailers think most got their head start Thursday, instead of waiting for the big day. Margaret White and her familly decided to lay low until this morning.

"We got up. got the paper. We got on the phone last night , then we got out here and we made plans where we were going," she said.

Not everyone was a happy camper. Chris Kruayai doesn't believe the deals were worth coming out for.

"Cold. Lines. Don't recommend coming out here. Keep your money at home and your wife," he said.

According to a survey by the National Retail Federation, up to 147 million people plan to shop Black Friday weekend which includes Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

White says crowds or no crowds, she's happy all the way around.

"Perfect, perfect! We're still not finished," she said.
